We strongly suggest to use Linux or macOS to administer your HI-Stack. You can follow this guide if you use Windows but you will be required to install some additional software on your machine.
The use of a domain (or subdomain) is not strictly necessary, but we will use a domain in the tutorial.
You need a credit card to rent the dedicated server of your choice from Soyoustart.
You will need a credit card if you wish to upgrade your Proxmox and ClearOS licenses. They both release community editions that don’t cost a dime.
